Do It Heartily

When Sir Thomas Lawrence was asked how he bestowed such consummate care upon a certain picture intended for a semi-barbarous foreign court, he replied: "I cannot help it; I do the best I can, unable through a tyrant feeling to do anything else." It would be well for all the servants of Jesus Christ, whose work is to be exhibited at the court of Heaven, if they had something of this "tyrant feeling" that cannot be half-hearted, but must always do their very best. "Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily as unto the Lord."
